ChowZam may collect the food photos, scan results, account details, and device information needed to provide and improve the service. We collect only what is reasonably necessary for the features you choose to use.

How we use information

We use information to identify food, provide nutrition and recipe insights, maintain scan history, communicate with you, and keep ChowZam safe. We do not sell personal information.

Food photos

Photos you submit are processed to provide your scan. We retain them only as described in the app experience or as long as needed to provide a feature you have enabled. You can request deletion by contacting us.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can also stop using the app at any time. Contact us at privacy@chowzam.app.

Updates

We may update this policy as ChowZam evolves. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
